Alcohol Test EtG Urine

Our Price: $99.00

Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) is a direct metabolite of ethanol alcohol. The presence of EtG in the urine can be used to detect recent alcohol consumption, even after the ethanol alcohol is no longer measurable. The presence of EtG in the urine demonstrates that ethanol alcohol was ingested within the past three or four days, or roughly 80 hours after the ethanol alcohol has been metabolized by the body. As a result, it can be determined that a urine alcohol test employing EtG is a more accurate indicator of the recent consumption of alcohol as opposed to simply measuring for the existence of ethanol alcohol.

Alcohol Hair Test

Our Price: $190.00

With as much as an inch and a half of hair cut from the scalp of a person, a hair alcohol testing laboratory can find out what a person’s approximated consumption of alcohol has been up to a 30 day history and if the hair sample is longer, as much as a year of alcohol consumption can be tested. A series of assessments called FAEE, fatty acid ethyl esters and EtG alcohol testing are done to measure the amount of FAEE and EtG markers that are revealed in the tests. The more alcohol a person has consumed, the more markers will be present on a test. Hair testing for alcohol markers is now recognised is US judicial systems.

NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) LipoProfile

Our Price: $119.00

Nuclear magnetic resonance utilizes imaging that produces a representation of the lipoproteins found in a simple blood sample. An easy way to understand the concept of NMR technology is to compare it to the ringing of bells. When a group of bells is struck, the frequency of the sound separates the ring of one bell from another while the loudness of the sound reflects the number of bells struck. By recording the "ringing" of all of the lipoproteins in a blood sample, it is possible to identify the number and type of lipoprotein particles present.

Paternity Test - DNA - Legal

Our Price: $340.00  Sale Price:  $299.00

This DNA paternity test determines the biological father of a child. We all inherit our DNA from our biological parents, half from our mother, and half from our father. A DNA paternity test compares a child's DNA pattern with that of the potential father to determine if there is a match. A simple swab is rubbed on the child's and potential father's gums and sent to our lab for testing.  It is the most definitive proof of a biological relationship between child and father. This DNA Paternity test is valid in court.  To be valid in court we must follow strict chain-of-custody requirements including photographing the child, mother and potential father.

Paternity Test - DNA - NON Legal

Our Price: $299.00  Sale Price:  $199

Our non-legal DNA paternity testing determines the biological father of a child. This DNA Paternity test is NOT valid in court but is extremely accurate. A simple swab is rubbed on the child's and potential father's gums and sent to our lab for testing.  Since this is a non-legal test, other samples may be used for the potential father's DNA besides the swab.  Results are typically available in 3 days.

Our Price:  $40.00

The TB skin test is performed by injecting a small amount of fluid called tuberculin, into the skin in the lower part of the arm.  A person given the tuberculin skin test must return within 48-72 hours to have a trained healthcare worker look for a reaction on the arm. The healthcare worker will look for a raised, hard area or swelling, and if present, measure its size.  The result of the test depends on the size of the swelling.  If the patient cannot return to have the results read, it is recommended to do the above TB blood test which only requires one visit (no return reading is required).

Tetanus toxoid is an excellent immunogen; it stimulates development of antitetanus toxoid antibodies.

Subsequent to vaccination, a patient's immunological response may be assessed by determining the presence of tetanus toxoid antibody levels in the serum. An absence of antibody formation postvaccination may relate to immune deficiency disorders, either congenital, acquired, or iatrogenic due to immunosuppressive drugs.

Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy

Our Price: $65.00

Vitamin D is a group of fat soluble prohormones that play a vital role in maintenance of bone health. It also plays a role in proper functioning of the immune system, cancer prevention and cardiovascular disease prevention. Several forms of vitamin D exist, with the major forms being vitamin D2 and vitamin D3. Vitamin D2 is not produced by the body, but is found only in the diet from fish or plants or by supplementation. Vitamin D3 is formed in the skin upon exposure to sunlight and is also found in the diet consisting of animal products.

Vitamin D levels are determined based on the serum concentration of the major circulating form of vitamin D, 25-hydroxy-vitamin D. Deficiencies in vitamin D can lead to an increased risk of bone loss or bone fractures. Recent studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency may play a role in many other diseases as well.
